21st edition of the Brescia running event
Description
Bossoni Group Brescia Art Marathon is the city’s historic running event. It is one of Italy’s fastest marathons with a high level of participation.
The 21st edition will be held on Sunday 12 March 2023
The competitive event covers a full range of distances:
- Marathon 42.095 km;
- Half-marathon 21.097 km;
- Fast Run 10 km.
This year, for the first time, the Start and Finish lines will coincide and are located in the heart of the city in Piazza della Loggia.
The BAM (acronym for Brescia Art Marathon) race itineraries are Fidal-homologated, smooth-running and well-protected. The routes are all urban and pass through historic squares and old streets.
As always, the event is also open to the world of non-competitors with the 10-km Sportland Easy Run and the 5-km Solidarity Family Walking held in collaboration with the AIL, AVIS and ADMO Associations.
BAM IS INCLUSIVE – the event has always embraced and welcomed the world of the physically challenged and enabled their participation with assistance.
On Saturday 11 March 2023, the Tomorrow Runners event with the city’s primary school pupils will take place at Campo Marte. A race at breakneck speed for the young protagonists and a joyful moment shared with families and teachers.
The Bossoni Group Brescia Art Marathon is the most eagerly awaited sporting event of the year, a celebration that engages the entire city.

There will be a special paddock for people with wheelchairs and those accompanying them, a dedicated entranceway to the grids, and a facilitated starting phase for the races.

Online registration is possible if done by 10 March 2023 at the latest.
Italian athletes registered with a sports club (or with a FIDAL RUNCARD) and in possession of a sports medical certificate may participate in the competitive Fidal event.
Foreign athletes may participate if registered with a club in their countries. If not registered, they are obliged to purchase a FIDAL RUNCARD and to proceed by having the Health Form (downloadable from the website) filled in by a doctor in their country of residence.
Registration is open to everyone for NON-competitive events such as:
- EASY RUN 10 km;
- FAMILY WALKING 5 km.
Marathon Village in Piazza Mercato, site of the EXPO, bib/jersey pick-up, general information and participant services.

- Sunday 12 March from 6 am to 07.30 am
