The Red and Blue Festival opens on Tuesday, 2 May at 2.30 pm with a main event titled “The Culture of innovation and the value of the intangible”, enlivened by panel discussions and gaming inside Bergamo’s Innovation District.

 

The opening by promoters CSMT and Kilometro Rosso illustrates the experience and values behind this great project, accompanied by the vision of the partner and supporting companies that have made it possible: Copan Group, Rete Iobo, Pirelli, Jacobacci & Partners.

 

This will be followed by an inspiring talk with Thomas Hanel, Head of Innovation Pirelli and the session “The Value of Intangibles” with Enrica Acuto Jacobacci Vice-President and CEO of Jacobacci & Partners, Francesca Bazoli, President- of the Brescia Museum Foundation, Cristina Bombassei, Board member of Brembo and Chief CSR Officer.

 

Young people are the protagonists involved in this first event with a dialectic experience in collaboration with TEHA – The European House Ambrosetti, which will engage two teams of young people from the fourth-year classes of high schools in the two cities as they “compete” on topics of enormous social and technological impact taken from history, technology or other contexts, which they will be called upon to discuss, in their own way, bringing reasons for and against the proposed topic.

 

With the kickoff of the Festival, the Photographic Exhibition on an international contest will also be inaugurated, attended by the founder of the international photography group “Rainbow’” Nilo Domanico, engineer, photographer and traveller (his latest commitments include the direction of the works of the Oman Botanic Garden, under construction near the capital Muscat, which will be the largest in the world). The exhibition of these exceptional and impressive photographs is scheduled to be open from 2 to 25 May at the two Innovation Campuses in Brescia and Bergamo (from 2 to 16 May at Kilometro Rosso and from 18 to 25 May at CSMT).

 

The event concludes with a visit to the campus laboratories.
